WORKING WITH THE SITE

Every site
has its details.

Foundry Lane Warehouse
Aliquippa, Pennsylvania

Keep the warehouse working.

The concrete outside Foundry Lane’s loading positions was ready for replacement. The warehouse still needed to receive deliveries, so closing the entire apron at once would have made the work harder to accommodate.

Room for trucks and the crew.

With one loading position closed, the remaining approach also had to accommodate turning trucks. Equipment and demolition bins could not simply stay beside the pour.

Work in phases. Reopen with care.

We moved the staging area clear of the approach and coordinated material deliveries with warehouse receiving. The first phase stayed protected until it met the reopening requirements; only then did work move to the second side.

After removing the worn concrete, we repaired the supporting base and placed the replacement apron. Each phase included curing before reopening.

THE HANDOVER

Ready for the
next delivery.

A renewed concrete apron serving the warehouse’s two existing loading positions. The work focused on the surface and its supporting base, retaining the building and dock equipment already in place.
