WORKING WITH THE SITE

Every site
has its details.

Westbridge Service Center
Washington County, Pennsylvania

A better yard beside the garage.

The service center needed an aggregate working area beside its existing garage bays. The job covered earthworks, grading, and an aggregate surface for the working yard.

A soft spot beneath the surface.

After stripping the yard, a small area near the garage approach remained soft under equipment. Covering it with the planned aggregate would have left an uneven foundation beneath the working surface.

Rebuild the ground. Then the yard.

We agreed a localized excavation with the owner, removed the unsuitable material, and rebuilt that area with compacted aggregate before continuing the yard. The extra preparation stayed within the two-week work sequence.

We shaped the formation and placed and compacted aggregate in layers to the agreed yard specification. The photographs show placement before final compaction and trimming.

THE HANDOVER

Prepared for
yard use.

Final compaction and trimming completed the aggregate working area. The scope was limited to the yard surface and supporting ground; the existing garage building remained unchanged.
